Deadpool and Negasonic Teenage Warhead Photo Tweeted By Ryan Reynolds

The latest photo tweeted out by Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds shows himself, costumed as Deadpool, with a female mutant named Negasonic Teenage Warhead. In the Marvel Comic Universe, this character's real name is Ellie Phimister, and she was a student of X-Men member Emma Frost. Ms. Warhead's powers include telepathy and precognitive ability. In other words, she can read minds and foretell the future. Given that Deadpool is a character with multiple voices in his head, the ability to read his mind may be a set up for some good laughs in the movie. Here is the tweet from Ryan Reynolds from the set of the new Deadpool movie: Negasonic Teenage Warhead first appeared in the comic book New X-Men #115, published in August, 2001. She was the creation of writer Grant Morrison and artist Frank Quitely. As a character introduced in the X-Men books, Negasonic Teenage Warhead is the cinematic property of Fox Studios under a licensing agreement between Marvel and Fox dating back to the 1990s. She is making her first movie appearance in the new Deadpool film. Deadpool is being played by Ryan Reynolds, and the role of Negasonic Teenage Warhead is filled by Brianna Hildebrand, who is a new actress with no prior movies to her credit. Ryan Reynolds is not new to the superhero game, having appeared as Wade Wilson/Deadpool in the first Wolverine movie in 2009. Reynolds also played the DC Comics superhero, Green Lantern in the movie of that name in 2011. Reynolds was very public regarding his desire to return to play Deadpool on screen. Since filming began, Reynolds has tweeted several photos of himself in the Deadpool costume, including the one of Deadpool with Negasonic Teenage Warhead. That name, by the way, was taken by writer Grant Morrison, from the title of a rock song called, "Negasonic Teenage Warhead." The song is by a band called Monster Magnet.
